  Time Spent: 9 hours     Ever since I was a kid my favorite animal has always been a turtle and I am even planning on getting a turtle tattoo one day so I knew that for my project I wanted to do a turtle. I looked up online some more simple drawings of a turtle to be able to find something that had easy shapes but was also going to be a challenge. I knew that to include the bezier curves and the quadratic curves that I was going to use those for the waves as well as the turtle. I also wanted to do something that had something to do with Florida and the beach since I grew up going to the beach and seeing the turtles. I created the sketch by first drawing out the turtle as that was going to be the main thing in my project and then adding things like the sand, waves, palm tree and sun with the sky to give it a full picture effect.     While creating the code for this project I started out with the sun and the sky as I knew that those things would be the easier things to do, and I wanted

The internet is what connects computers around the world and is something that people use to get information and communicate with each other. As long as someone has a connection to the internet they can gain all of the information and communication methods that are available through the internet. There wasn't a single inventor of the internet because it has evolved over time but it got started in the 1960s by an MIT guy J.C.R. Licklider. The internet was first invented for the military. There was an increasing need for computers and for the military to be able to communicate with each other. It was supposed to be something in which if satellites went down that the military would still be able to communicate. It was also able to share data among scientists. It is used today for anything and everything. People use it to communicate to gather information and post things about their lives and share their experiences to people.   Hello! My name is Meagan Laudenslager and I am from a small town in Connecticut. I was born and raised there however I did go to first grade and live in Boston for a year while my mom was getting her masters at MIT. This not only gave me the opportunity to learn about a different way of life but gave me the opportunity to meet new people and try new things. I was also able to live part time in NYC from 2016-2018 when my mom got a job in Manhattan. I still went to high school in CT however I was able to go visit my mom on weekends and explore NYC like a local. My family is very close as I am an only child which had its good parts and its bad parts. My family for the most part is in Connecticut, Florida or Montana. Although we are spread all throughout the country it was good as I was able to see different places in the US that I normally wouldn't have thought to go to. I was very lucky to be able to travel a lot growing up. I have been to over 10 different countries, the first one
